Our extended-wear MasterpieceTM line of dental tooling provides users of dental milling machines a high-quality, low cost, high-performance option for their dental milling needs. Masterpiece ball-nosed endmills coatings include: solid carbide, diamond, and coated carbide.
Using state-of-the-art coating processes such as Physical Vapor Deposition technology (PVD) and Chemical Vapor Deposition, (CVD) each tool is engineered to reduce friction, extend load-carrying capacity and improve wear. Extensively tested for tolerances, Masterpiece cutters go through multiple cleaning cycles and receive laser treatments to assure minimum run-out.
Masterpiece tools are available in solid-carbide form as well as coatings of Aluminum Titanium Nitride (AlTiN) two-diamond coatings including: Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC), crystalline diamond (CVC) and a special CrN (chromium nitride) coating for PMMA, PEEK, PE and other materials. CrN is an excellent coating that provides lubricity and superior wear and corrosion resistance.
